I am a 47 year old interior designer from Lingfield, Surrey.  I have a husband, two teenage children, an English Pointer called Toby, a Miniature Schnauzer called Frimpong and I run (well sort of).

Why ‘Bean?’
When I met my husband-to-be I tried desperately hard to impress him as I knew ‘He was the ONE.’ I cooked a romantic meal one night with candles and flowers then managed to tip half a bottle of wine over my Beloved before we had started the starter. I dressed in a glam outfit to go to a friend’s wedding then got my stilleto heel stuck in a drain, snapped it off, and spent the next six hours on one real and one imaginary Russell and Bromley. Thank God when the dancing started and I could groove justifiably in my stockinged feet. On our first Christmas together I dashed off to get the Big Food Shop in Tesco. As I approached the end of an aisle with a deranged trolley and a hasty desire to locate the brandy butter I managed to take out, yes TAKE OUT, an entire display of Finest Red Burgundy. The almighty crash and looks of the horrified Christmas shoppers will haunt me for years. The aisle would not have emptied quicker if I had murdered someone there in a fight over a bargain Christmas pudding. So yes I was christened Bean by my Man, not as a term of endearment, more a reference to my similarities to Rowan Atkinson.

Why ‘Runner?’
It went well with Bean and it is what I want to be one day. I am aiming high.
